In 2004, nine years after beginning his career with Accenture, Brian started Kenway Consulting with the goal of changing some of the basic principles of the consulting industry. Brian set out to build a company that operates under the general philosophy that clients come first. Having witnessed first-hand the “profit at all cost” selling approach of many consulting firms, Brian’s approach to sales was a whole lot simpler: be good and be truthful. This customer centric philosophy combined with the need in the market place for management consultants with the skills to bridge the gap between business and technology provided Brian with the early niche needed to begin growing a successful company.
For the past fifteen years, Brian has been successfully managing and leading critical enterprise initiatives from the implementations of Enterprise HR solutions, Client Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, Portal Technologies and Case Management Systems to the deployment of enterprise wide Data Governance and Master Data Management initiatives. These implementations have spanned technologies and industries, from the package to the custom, Telecommunications to Financial Services.
In an effort to harness his years of success and provide all of Kenway’s Consultants with a foundational set of tools to ensure quality across client deliverables, Brian created a Project Management best practices methodology that is now a staple of every Kenway engagement. This suite of processes, tools and the underlying Kenway Consulting Best Practices Methodology ensure a standard level of service that is enjoyed by each and every Kenway Consulting Client and is regularly reviewed for quality assurance.
Over the past five years, Brian has been a leader in the field of Data Management working with some of Chicago’s most successful companies to implement data strategies, governance structures and tools that position them to better service their clients internally and externally while significantly reducing long-term operating costs. His continued work in data management ensures that Kenway Consulting will be on the cutting edge of the field for years to come.
