At the beginning of this year, I had the opportunity to step into a new role at Kenway Consulting: leading our Capability Leadership organization. This team plays a pivotal role, overseeing Kenway’s practices and guiding how we articulate and deliver our value to the market. It’s not just about what we do, but also about why we do it—and how we ensure we’re meeting the needs of our clients in a way that’s both strategic and transformative.

As I was taking on this responsibility, Kenway was already amid a major evolution. We were reimagining our service offerings, redefining our approach to meet our clients’ ever-evolving needs, and finding ways to communicate our value more effectively. Crain’s Chicago Business Names Kenway Consulting #37 out of 100 on its 2024 List of Best Places to Work in Chicago

CHICAGO, Friday, September 13, 2024 Kenway Consulting today announced that it has been named one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Kenway was honored with a #37 out of 100 ranking on this year’s prestigious list. The annual award recognizes local companies that excel in creating quality workplaces for their employees, with outstanding benefits and culture. This is the fifth time Kenway has been named one of Crain’s Best Places to Work in Chicago, with previous appearances in 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Determining the Best Places to Work in Chicago involved a two-step process. The first step consisted of evaluating each participating company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of employee surveys to assess their workplace experiences and attitudes. This part was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. Workforce Research Group managed the registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and used its expertise to determine the final ranking.

The full 2024 Best Places to Work in Chicago list was announced during a September 12 awards celebration at the Hilton Chicago. The updated ranking of Chicago’s 100 top employers is featured on the Crain’s Chicago Business website, and will also appear in the publication’s September 16 print edition.

Forbes Names Kenway Consulting to its 2024 List of America’s Best Management Consulting Firms

CHICAGO, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 Kenway Consulting today announced that it has been named to the Forbes 2024 list of America’s Best Management Consulting Firms. This is the second time Kenway has been honored with this prestigious award presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world’s leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

This year’s list was determined through a two-step survey process of both industry executives and clients. Step one involved an expert survey of more than 1,100 partners or executives who recommended consultancies in 16 industries and 16 functional areas. Self-recommendations were not permitted.

Step two involved a client survey of more than 1,200 clients who collaborated with a management consultancy in the past four years. Respondents were asked with which industries and functional areas they had collaborated, and were presented with a unique shortlist per industry or functional area based on last year’s results and the recommendations collected from the expert survey.

The top 190 management consulting firms were then sorted into three different star classes, based on the data derived from the two surveys: five stars for “very frequently recommended,” four stars for “frequently recommended,” and three stars for “recommended.” Kenway received three stars.
