CHICAGO, Friday, April 13, 2018 – Kenway Consulting announced today that it has been named one of the “2018 Best Places to Work in Chicago” by Crain’s Chicago Business.
Kenway made its debut on the prestigious list at #28 out of 100. The annual award honors local companies that excel in creating quality workplaces for their employees with outstanding benefits and culture.
“At Kenway, culture is everything. We emphasize means over outcomes, and live by the company’s ‘Why’ of ‘To Help and Be Helped,’” said Brian King, Kenway Consulting’s president and CEO. “It’s a refreshing approach, and we’re honored to be recognized for our focus on integrity, quality, value and respect. I couldn’t be more proud of everyone at Kenway for making this company such an incredible place to work.”
The awards program, conducted in partnership with Best Companies Group, involved a two-step research process to determine exact rankings. The first step, worth 25% of each participating company’s total score, evaluated workplace policies, practices, and demographics. Step two, worth 75% of the total score, reviewed survey results from 8,800 employees at Chicago-based companies that asked questions about key workplace topics such as corporate culture and communication; relationships with management and co-workers; opportunities for career development and growth, and satisfaction with pay, vacation time, and benefits.
Kenway, along with Chicago’s other “2018 Best Places to Work,” was honored at an April 12, 2018 awards luncheon at The Ritz Carlton Chicago. Kenway is featured in an article and detailed company profile on the Crain’s Chicago Business website, and will appear in the publication’s upcoming April 16 print edition.
