Kenway Consulting announced today that it has partnered with private equity firm Svoboda Capital Partners (SCP) on a recapitalization of the company. Under terms of the agreement, SCP has purchased a majority interest in Kenway. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

CHICAGO, Thursday, February 6, 2020 – Kenway Consulting announced today that it has partnered with private equity firm Svoboda Capital Partners (SCP) on a recapitalization of the company. Under terms of the agreement, SCP has purchased a majority interest in Kenway. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

As a result of the partnership, Kenway’s organizational structure will also change. Company veteran Matt Kueker, who most recently served as Kenway’s managing director, has assumed the role of chief executive officer (CEO). Brian King, Kenway’s founder and former CEO, will now serve as the company’s Scottsdale office lead and member of its newly-created Board of Managers. Additional members of the five-person board include Kueker, John Svoboda (SCP), David Rubin (SCP), and a soon-to-be-named third-party participant.
