CHICAGO, Thursday, September 10, 2026 – Kenway Consulting today announced that it has been named one of Chicago’s 2026 Best Places to Work, recognized with a #20 out of 100 ranking as one of the city’s best employers.
The annual rankings, compiled by Crain’s Chicago’s Business in partnership with Best Companies Group – a Pennsylvania-based independent workplace excellence research firm, honors local employers that excel in creating quality workplaces with outstanding benefits and culture. This is the seventh time Kenway has been named one of Crain’s Best Places to Work. Prior list appearances include 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
“We’re honored to once again be recognized as one of Crain’s Chicago’s Best Places to Work. Our employees’ unparalleled commitment to our clients and each other is what makes being a part of Kenway so special,” said Amy Wilkins, CEO, Kenway Consulting. “Kenway employees not only prioritize integrity, communication, value and quality in the work they deliver, but they are also incredibly supportive of and collaborative with each other. I am very proud of our unique company culture.”
Determining the Best Places to Work in Chicago involved a two-step process. The first part included an employer questionnaire that collected information about benefits, policies, practices and other general workplace data. The second was a confidential 77-question employee survey used to evaluate employees’ workplace experience and culture. Best Companies Group managed the registration and survey process, and analyzed the collected data to determine the final rankings.
The full Crain’s 2026 Best Places to Work list was announced during a September 9 awards celebration at mHUB. The updated ranking of Chicago’s 100 top employers is featured on the Crain’s website, and will also appear in the publication’s September 14 print edition.
